From the CEO

Year end is always a time for reflection and this year is no exception. We have had an amazing journey this year and I’d like to sincerely thank the volunteers and staff who have worked so hard to build our Queensland contribution to the United Way movement. THANK YOU!

Christmas Giving...

The Christmas spirit is well and truly alive in the offices of our Corporate Partners as Santa’s elves busily gather gifts for the Christmas Giving program that makes the festive season more special for so many in our community experiencing hardship.  Generous staff put in a lot of time and effort, often giving their own time, to collect an array of gifts ranging from household items, Christmas foods, gift vouchers for teenagers and special pampering products. Companies supporting UWQ’s Christmas Giving this year include, Fuji Xerox, Zurich, Genworth, Fujitsu, KPMG and Gadens Lawyers.

Corporate Workplace Giving At Work - 2009 Allocations

The generosity of our Corporate Partners and their staff members will support a total of 986 individuals in eight Queensland community organizations to improve their lives.
